They are an antique set of letters and numbers, originally leatherworking
tools, but I'm going to try them out on a new polymer clay project tomorrow...
The little holder shows its age...beautifully! ~
I didn't photograph the set of numbers,

They are quite a bit larger than the modern metal set I have,

get new ones in just about any size, now...

Hello Anne, thanks for stopping by my blog. Feel free to use the Angel. I love Mr. Leo I had a Lana Turner for many years through my youth and into college who could be his twin. A green eye and blue eye. Although she was deaf she was very smart - I would turn on a light and she would come immediately. Love your letters. I have a few set. Mine came with oil on them - they were for metal. I take a cotton rag and wipe them good before I use them. I cant wait to see what you do with them.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for coming to see me! I enjoy new faces on my blog. You have a lovely blog also... Your kitty is just to cute!! Hope to see ya again. Hugs-- Sandra

ReplyDeleteAnne,
ReplyDeleteThank you for your visit and comment. I chuckled at your stamps. I have the same exact set with the numbers in a separate wooden mitered box and the copper headed hammer to pound with. I have yet to use them, so perhaps I can pick up some inspiration from you.
