A Old Valentine...

Happy St.Valentine's Day!  A little  late, but I wanted to share some vintage Valentines (old enough to be in the public domain...feel free to save and print them) aren't they delightful? Such a simpler time...I hope everyone had a wonderful day! (I painted the children's faces at the Valentine's party for a first grade class Mr. B subbed for today...I'm worn out!

  1. How sweet these post cards are! What great pieces for altered art projects. Thanks for sharing.

Hope you had a wonderful day today. Sounds like fun painting faces for the class. And how brave of your husband to sub on a party day at school! The kids were wound up at my school today. And that was before any chocolate!

Thanks for stopping by. I have had a good time over at your place!

  2. Such lovely valentine cards! Thanks for sharing them ;0)The newer valentine cards that they sell.... I wonder if 30-40 years down the line, if they will be treasured like these? lol

  3. Thank you both for stopping by! Kate, the first-graders were surprisingly good, but I couldn't sub every day like Mr. B does! I love sharing whatever cards/ephemera I can dig up...Cheryl, I just don't know about our modern cards/collectibles of any kind being much sought after in the future, just because of the sheer volume of everything now...but, the Victorians probably felt the same way about their things...:)♥
