My son told me a while back that Frankie here was just pitifully

hideous...so of course then I felt sorry for him and had to invite him

to the party...I even gave him some marigolds to hold... :)

My Grandpa Elisha told me that when he was a boy, they regularly

I'm always Queen for a Day, the day before Halloween!

(Actually just a couple of minutes before...

Daddy wanted to call me "Spook", but Mama wasn't having it...

~ he settled for "Scooter" later).

Thank you to some dear friends for the delicious *props* here!

Your Halloween vignettes are so cute! :) But that last photo with the beautiful teacup and birthday cookies that match are truly stunning. Who's celebrating a birthday this month? My oldest celebrated hers on October 19th.

  10. Anne, yours is the first of the parties to visit. Oh, my, how could it get any better? This collection of Halloween post cards is incredible. I will want to return to read, read, read again and again. They are each one totally delightful and fun, but I think my favorite is: "If you are scared on Halloween, never start to run.Get some good strong friend to hold you when the witches come." Now isn't that sweet and romantic for such a scary holiday? ;-)

As for the candy corn, there actually could be a shortage here if I don't keep out of the candy jar!
I just knew you would have some of those exquisite cookies. Happy Halloween and Happy Birthday!!!
    Wishing you lots of treats!
