I too have bits of crocodile tears and snake oil cures that still have the lurking fluid in the bottom of the jars.
Love these finds. I will return the compliment. Goodness, I have not thought of those adorable little china numbered girls in years. Perhaps 50! hehe, yup am 65, born in 1946, first wave baby boomers, but not the "rich" baby boomers everyone seems to talk about, hehe. My "numbered girls" were birthday girls. Strange do not even remember what happened to them. I am an only child and my parents are gone now. Most likely after I lost interest in them for those ungangly things called "boys" in my teenage years, mom donated them to the church rumage sale. She was always the chairwomen of those sales. Love the brilliant illustrations! Thank you again for your lovely comments and following me. Blessings on your weekend.Lynnhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16235486703363466753noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5952978843847671434.post-49450674450714478202012-03-09T17:43:23.169-06:002012-03-09T17:43:23.169-06:00This is cuteness overload!! We have moved too much and each time we get rid of more stuff. I wonder if Aunt Bessie named her after that because she instilled a fascination in us for the "little people"...

I remember those yearly figurines, too.

Do you remember when old jokes were called chestnuts? I still have a couple of the little "Chestnut books" that were published in the 40's. Totally politically incorrect now.

I hope you have a great Friday-xo DianaNanaDianahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14298962791700019785noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5952978843847671434.post-27926933940367615572012-03-09T06:33:49.663-06:002012-03-09T06:33:49.663-06:00Well now ~ doesn't this look like a nice place...Well now ~ doesn't this look like a nice place to spend some time!
