Our day here in Southeast Missouri started out sunny, but by the time I had my cherries, crystal and lace all set up (more future watercolor paintings), the clouds had returned...and out came the incandescent spotlights/worklights; (the inexpensive, silver-reflectored ones from Walmart...what would I do without those in winter?)
I love cherries...eating them, decorating with cherry-themed items and painting them... Lace has also been one of my favorite things to paint, as well, ever since I discovered the fun of painting all the little "negative" spaces, years and years ago! Crystal, however, is a relatively new challenge ~ it looks so incredibly difficult, but broken down it's really just little geometric shapes...(yes, I keep telling myself that!)
We will see! July and the Depot show loom closer every day!
